Blue is most definitely my favorite color. But I’ve been slightly distressed, because as I solidified designs for the main rooms of the house, like the living room, dining room and kitchen there has been zero blue involved! Then I began to notice that I was VERY attracted to blue bedrooms, see evidence here:

So it was settled that the guest room would in fact become the blue room. I tested four Benjamin Moore blues. I was torn between going dark, medium or light with the hue. I always recommend testing your paint colors on the wall in your space, and looking at them multiple times a day. One will jump out at you as your favorite. Can you guess which color I chose?

I should preface the color choice by saying that I knew my bedding would be this fabulous classic, white and navy banded set, by Boll & Branch (more on them during the reveal post, but their fair-trade organic bedding is wonderful stuff).

With the addition of a vintage/found headboard, art prints from Minted.com and some colorful textiles I am hoping the room comes together something like this:
