JOB DESCRIPTION
- Managing multiple client projects at different phases, shepherding the client from design development through to completion of construction/installation
- Managing ongoing project deliverables for clients and contractors
- Develop construction documents, elevation drawings, millwork drawings, plumbing and electrical schematics, details, schedules, and specs
- Assist Senior Designer with finish and fixtures selections and specifications for furnishings projects as well as high-end kitchen and bath remodeling projects, in addition to full home building and remodeling
- Develop design boards and other visual communication techniques to communicate an overall design concept and finish and fixture selections
- Project management and administration throughout construction
- Using our project management software for proposals and working with the ordering team to ensure accuracy of all client purchase orders
- Vendor communication
- Library and sample maintenance
- Errands and needed
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 4 years experience in the residential interior design field
- High level of drawing skills in AutoCad
- Knowledge of finishes, fixtures, materials and specifications and ability to meet with clients to discuss pricing, selections, and drawings
- Familiarity with residential design standards and construction processes
- Excellent visual, oral, and written communication skills
- Ability to work self-sufficiently and think independently
- Strong sense of personal style and aesthetic
