We are currently living with some super vintage bathrooms (yet to be seen here on the blog), and I’ve been thinking about quick fixes since full renovations aren’t in the cards for a little while. I realized I never posted about this quick refresh I did as a part of the Lake Forest Guest House project, and I thought it would be a good time to share a few easy bathroom updates to up the cool factor in your so-so bathroom.
Easy Areas to Update in the Bathroom
Before Photos
There’s nothing terrible about the bathroom before, but it’s certainly lacking in style. My client’s planned to gut it at some point, but for the time being just wanted it to look more appealing. Since the tile and walls were white, I added some texture and natural elements with a wooden shelf/box (made by local carpenter), a natural woven shade, funny artwork and a stylish basket for TP. On the vanity side we used a light and mirror by Pottery Barn for a sleeker look. Done and done!

Turned out cute! What would you change first in your bath?
