It’s a pretty exciting day when one of your favorite shelter magazines not only features your work, but asks you to write the article from your perspective! I had so much fun working with some of my favorite industry pros on this photo shoot, which Domino Magazine online covered under the title “Decorate A Modern, Bright Holiday Table.” We used the talents of an artist, prop stylist, vintage rental company, baker, florist and designer to come up with this dreamy scene. The good news is we’re giving away all our secrets, so you can re-create the look on your own!
Here are some of the pretty pictures. Read the FULL FEATURE for DIY advice on how to make this style tablescape work with your home decor. Photography by Anna Sodziak.
The bright and modern tablescape, so dreamy in this shot!
Artist Kristi Kohut of Hapi Art hosted in her soft and romantic dining room.
We used 5×7 postcards of Kristi’s artwork as menus.
Painted watercolor cookies and lush florals looking yummy!
Vibrant vintage glassware from Nimblewell (Chicago-based rental company).
