We haven’t been religious about sending a yearly holiday card, but I sent one the year we got married, and this year we’ve reached another big milestone with the house! With the change of address and the holidays approaching I thought a combination new address announcement and holiday card would be perfect. Plus, I have the perfect image to use on the card — the incredible watercolor Carly of Clementine Studio painted for the blog.
The new address is missing from the front in these pictures (didn’t want to put that out there for the world to see) but Minted.com made it so easy to make these, and ADDRESS THEM! Yes, if you have a basic spreadsheet with addresses you can easily upload it and DONE! The cards come printed with all the addresses of your family and friends. They even have stamps you can customize. I opted for this little monogram stamp, and went with postcards because they are quick and cost effective with no envelope!
On the flip side, I threw in a little picture of us but could have written a message instead. I was going for short and sweet this year, plus hey, family and friends can check the blog for updates, right?! I got the cards and stamps in about three days, and having everything show up together and addressed was pretty amazing. I may do a holiday card every year!
Minted has endless holiday card inspiration, this is our holiday card, and here are a few of my other favorite designs:
There are tons of shapes for ornament cards, love this flower pattern.
This large format photo is perfect for a family portrait.
And can’t go wrong with gold foil, so classy!
Happy Holiday Season friends! Whether you do a card, make cookies, decorate OR NOT, tell people you LOVE THEM that is what the season is really about.
XOXO – CLAIRE
