Looking back at the gorgeous and historic patterns from my trip to Standen House in England with @zoffanywf and @wmorrisandco — This trip was in 2019, when Morris wallpaper was beginning the huge resurgence we are seeing now in modern interiors.

These timeless patterns continue to be forever classics of the Arts & Crafts style. The cover photo here is showing generations of the MALLOW pattern first produced in 1879!

A palette for our latest new build project, we’re warming this house up with lots of texture, wooden furniture and textiles galore!

Save these tips for mixing neutrals in an effortless way:
- use multiple textures (think grasscloth, fabric with unique weaves and cozy carpets).
- make sure to set off neutrals with a metal element or two, such as the silver accent here (curtain rod, hardware, lighting for examples).
- mix three neutrals with one soft color, here we have black, cream and tan, plus blue.
