Before & After: The previous homeowners styled this room as an office but our clients wanted a traditional dining room to host holiday meals. First, we had @ratiaconstruction close the pass through to the kitchen. Once that was finished, the room came together with drapery, colored trim & grass cloth wallpaper. Fun Fact, we were the first ever to install @kellyventuradesign’s fabric as drapery!

Before & After (and this one is personal)! My sister and brother-in-law are renovating their first home (a sweet mid century gem) and I’m helping them with the learning curve, plus bringing their version of personal sanctuary to fruition. We started off by giving the primary bath a total overhaul.⁠

My sister’s style is very organic, warm and relaxed. I’m so happy we could achieve this serene, casual yet elevated place for them to call home. ⁠

Site Update! Remember when I shared our team’s #tiledhood inspiration? I'm thrilled because our client’s fully tiled hood and backsplash is installed. Our architectural design lead, Amy C., worked hard creating this organic pattern with different size tiles to make for a one-of-a-kind design. ⁠It adds just enough softness and texture to this modern kitchen.

We are still waiting on lots of furniture for this home and can’t wait to show you the living room, family room and more in a few months time!⁠

A little trip down memory lane & a history lesson! All great buildings have an interesting story to tell...⁠

The building we work out of today, originally housed the oldest stained glass company in Chicago (still operating today) Drehobl Art Glass. Our storefront includes the only original millwork and details from the early 1900s! (Swipe to the end to see a 1938 advertisement & a photo of the original exterior). I visited Drehobl today to pick out some beautiful art glass to hang up in the studio and honor their legacy (they are now located in Portage Park!). ⁠

As I swipe through these photos, I see how our team turned bare walls into a place we look forward to working in everyday. Our studio shines with personality, while honoring the history of the building - very much the same goal I aim to achieve in each of my clients’ homes. Special shoutout to Kiril and team @ratiaconstruction, I'd be just a bunch of ideas without them!⁠
